Week 3's inquiry wonders.

This Term our Inqury statement is: Every action has and equal or opposite reaction. We have been looking at our muscles and where they are found this week. Mrs V gave us a challenge... she wanted to know if we could work out where our muscles are and what their names were. We were to colour in where the muscles were found and write their names next to them.

Tui: I am colouring in all the muscles.

Orlando: I am colouring in the biceps.

Jester: I found the abdominals.

Sincear: This muscle is the Pectorals.

MIND LAB:

This week we had a trip to Mind Labs, it was such a great day. It started off with a birthday celebration for Caleb.. followed with cake and pop corn. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALEB!!

Then we packed our bags and headed up the road to wait for the bus.

We got to Mindlabs and we meet Eros. He kept thinking we were Rm 26.

Coco showed us this cool robot. When you turned it on it scribbled on the paper.

We were given the equipment to make one... off we went in our buddies.

Raihaan: I am putting the battery together.

Caleb: Tui and I are working out how to put the battery onto the lego.

Joelina: Diego and I are making the legs.

Tui: We are nearly finished. We taped the legs onto the lego so that it can draw.

Diego: Joelina is helping me put the legs on.

Xaviar: We are putting the legs onto our robot. Its hard.

Jester: I'm finished!!!

Tui: We are finished. Look at it draw.

Mandy: Wow look at what it is doing.

Our parents got in on the action and helped out too.

Next we went into another classroom and we made Wobblies.

Eros is showing us what the wobbly was made out of.

Makalita: I am decorating my wobbly.
Henry: Ankush and I are taping the battery to the foam.

Aashine: I am making the legs.

Theo: Xaviar and I are working together to make our wobbly. He is sticking on the legs and I am holding the wobbly.

Koula: I am decorating our wobbly.

Then we raced!! We wanted to see whose wobbly would go in a straight line and whose would go the furthest.

We had lots of fun at MindLabs.
